Project Bunny Bomb
So at this time it is still a Club project car, and James is 10 and thinks he is still getting a Scirroco. So him being the apt pupil he asks if he can work on the GTI. So he can learn. So tear in to it he did.
He got a slow start with the seats, and it even confused me for a minute. We couldn't figure out how they came out (i blame it on a life full of muscle cars) So Mike C. showed us and it was so simple it hurt. From the pictures you can see that James did most of it himself only asking for help on the dash and doors. So Mike T. came and helped with that.

So now we move on to a time where James now owns it, and he continues to amaze. He took out all the carpet, sound deadener and the under coating. And cleaned it up. He even had a helper, sort of. That's our 4 yr old and he is a dubber in training, he could recite Euro cars (VW, Audi, BMW, Volvo ETC ) before he could count and it made the wife mad, now at five he is reciting Models as well as makes.
On to cleaning of the dash, this car had Raccoon feces, 5 Yrs. of barn dust and a bunch of other crap in it.
James stepped up and did another great job working from about 11 AM to dark. I was very proud of him. In the process he disassembled the dash and center console and put it all back together, so i think he learned a lot.
